Mysteries sits between Anchor Point and Killer Point, over mixed reef and sand. It is the inconsistent one on this stretch: it does not break often, and that is most of its reputation.
A right with slabby sections and one of the most technical take-offs in the area, best around high tide on a northwest swell with a northeasterly offshore. In January, clean 62% of the time, blown out 25%, too small 13%.
When it is working it can get crowded, which on a wave this rare is not surprising. Rocks are the named hazard, and the take-off is why this sheet files it for advanced surfers and up.
