More than thirty surf spots

The choice is wide in Gran Canaria with about thirty spots accessible all around the island. Depending on your level, you will have something to do! The best waves are in the north of the island between La Palmas de Gran Canaria and Gáldar. Breathtaking landscapes

In the center of the island, do not miss the Rural Del Nublo Park, declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, and its incredible panoramas between forests, valleys and ravines. With its canyons and vegetation, it sometimes feels like traveling through the national parks of the American West. Do not miss Barranco de Fataga, one of the most impressive canyons on the island. Its highest point is the Pozo de las Nieves, which rises to 1,949 m, but the most beautiful point of view is certainly Roque Nublo, a granite monolith rising to 1,813 meters above sea level, disappearing sometimes in the clouds: a wonder!

In the margins of the national park, in the Gorges de Barranco de Guayadeque, you will have the chance to see troglodyte habitats dug in the rock which give to see magnificent landscapes. And to the south, the dunes of Maspalomas, whose shapes change every day according to the wind, are of great beauty.

On the city side, stroll the streets of Las Palmas to discover its rich colonial past. You will find a great offer of restaurants, shops and hotels. The center of Vegueta and its traditional architecture will delight the afficionados of history and culture. Finally, in the fishing village of Agaete, the small beach of the port and salt pools will invite you to swim and idleness. Seaside side, do not miss the beach of Las Canteras: long and quiet, it is considered one of the best urban beaches in Europe.
